The bi-annual exception is another piece of the Collective Bargaining Agreement which allows teams to spend money on salary without counting it against their salary cap.  This exception allows teams to spend $1.672M over two years.  It can be spent on multiple players if the team so desires.

Assuming Robinson signs for the full value of the BAE for two years, his deal would be worth about $2.02MM for the coming season, and $4.12MM in total.

Good deal by Nuggets to acquire Kryptonate.

While they are no contenders, they will be very quick and athletic, very entertaining to watch.

Are you forgetting they've got Brian Shaw?

George Karl might be missed...

I think igudala will be missed more

Brian Shaw probably doesn't have the respect of the players George Karl already had.   That plus losing Iggy.

Ultimately Shaw while he might become a great coach, which no one knows is still a new coach implementing a new system with a core of talented athletic players but no go to franchise player to ease the transition. Pus people underestimate the intangibles that Iggy brought to this team.

If they can contain Javale and find an offensive threat that is consistent they can be dangerous...

However, losing Corey Brewer, Iggy, and George Karl isn't easy.

Like I said. I didn't want to see Shaw get the job and then they lose Iggy cause he'd be screwed and if his team fails he will get the blame and probably judged too quickly and lose out on being a head coach.

Will Ty and Nate respect his point guard credentials?

They play a much different game. Is Gallo still hurt?

They lost a lot of wing players

Yep.

Terrible off-season for the Nuggets, Shaw should have waited to see what they'd retain.  If he had, he probably would either be an assistant here or back in Indiana right now.

I don't think we will ever see Kareem or Ewing coach.
