Alright, so I'm part of the very few on this earth who've never had any interest in watching the Star Wars movies.

Lately, I've been wanting more and more to give it a try.

Which movie should I start with?

I think there's a thread for the Star Wars things but anyways, start with the Episode 1, do it in order, only way you'll understand it. If you start with Episode 4 you'll never understand the background, so go in order of episode not releases

Also, it depends on how much you want to get into it, if you want to understand the movies, the only thing besides the movies you'll need is a series of 25 5 minute episodes (can't remember the name) that take place between the 2nd and 3rd Episode (if Im not mistaken). But if you want to fully grasp it, there's books you'll need to read, games you'll need to play

star with episode 4...

If you start with episode 1, you will be severely disappointed... and likely, wont even finnish that movie, or get through the series...

start with episode 4... A new Hope...

don't worry about the first 3 episodes... A new hope fills you in on the details, and episode 1 came out like 20 years after star wars Episode 4 came out....

A new Hope is a GREAT movie, but a little slow...

Empire Strikes Back is probably the best movie...

Return of the Jedi is great as well...

Episode 1 is worse then 1950's cheesy sci-fi movies...

Episode 2 is an average sci-fi movie...

Episode 3 is an alright movie

Don't start with Episode 1 if you plan on getting through the entire series...

Seriously?!

You can't just look 9 topics down and see a Star Wars discussion / debate thread has already been started?!
