That was a good game tonight, was lopsided early but Mexico bounced back.

^ Yeah, but a tie always leaves one a bit unsatisfied. Granted though of course, Mexico didn't have all their absolute best players, nor did the U.S., but especially MEX.

My dad told me today that he has problems with the Mexican federation because of the time they got in trouble for taking girls into the hotel in Monterey.

^ Yeah, pretty much. Has held the personal grudge ever since. Felt he was also more severely punished than a few others and made as an example. Coach from that time has been long gone, but unfortunately, some of the people in charge of the Mexican futbol federation, who came down with the decision are still there. Too much personal pride perhaps.

Nice last few games for Mexico getting ready for the World Cup. Back-to-back games with 3 goals. Offense finally hasn't seemed to be a problem under Piojo. Shame the fracture that occurred after that first awesome goal yesterday. You never wanna' see a guy go out, especially leading up to the long-awaited World Cup.

Our offense should be fine it's the defense i'm worried about. Especially if Maza starts.  :|

^ Marquez, although still decent to solid, clearly isn't as quick as he used to be anymore either as he's rather up there in age & mileage to say the least.

Yep, and if they both start...defense might get worked..  :help:

Id feel more comfortable with Moreno, Marquez and Reyes trio. Even though reyes is still a little too green.

Oh [expletive] seriously? Damn. Didn't think they'd actually go through with it that far. Martinoli gets the last laugh. So who should or will be the next head man?

Hah! Nah I'm not close to an expert in futbol nor is my Spanish as great as it should be for a position like that. They'd eat me alive.

One thing's for sure though, it's highly unlikely whomever they hire will be as entertaining as Piojo was. The gifs and memes will go down.
