The clippers can't own the town especially having a 16 time champ as co tenant. As great a coach as doc rivers is. This clipper team won't take over la. Irritates me when people say oh it's a clipper town. FOH. If you're happy winning A pacific division banner in 40 plus years good for you lemme bake you a cake

Last time I checked they still lost in the first round last season, just like us.

Gets Doc Rivers as their coach

Builds the team as if they got Mike D'antoni

Clippers will be the Clippers.

Not very smart.

Well, as it stands they seem to be heading in the right direction and I don't know what the [expletive] we're doing.

We're building the team deepening the bench and filling up spots at Kobe, Nash's and Gasol's positions so that they don't have to play heavy minutes.   Pretty much surrounding the three vets Kobe, Pau and Nash with youth and athleticism.

The Clippers on the other hand got a guy that loves defense and post based offense and then built the team with three point shooters that play no defense and no post players....

=p

Don't get me wrong currently the clippers have been better for one season. but a lineup with jj reddick and Dudley out there? Please. Clippers could've had derozan or afflalo. Reddick and Dudley don't strike fear to me

It's just his opinion. Nothing wrong with that. Lakers can prove him wrong. Lakers will always run LA. Hell, Lakers will always run California. You see the huge support the Lakers got when they come to town in Northern Cali. That's love. Clips, Dubs and Kings are always gonna be the baby brother to the Lakers.

They'd strike more fear into me if they had a more legitimate post player to go along them allowing them better wide open space more consistently to be deadly.

They have the better team right now.

But they're not the ones with 16 trophies. Any talk of them "owning" this town is absurd. A few winning seasons and a legion of hipster fans doesn't suddenly make LA a Clipper town.

That's why not getting Garnett hurt them.

Currently their post threats are Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan

Like I said, they got a coach that loves post offense and defense...

Then signed no post players and a bunch of 3 point shooters with no defense...none of which can create their own shot...

Clippers started messing up the moment they re-signed Chris Paul.   Almost like they went "ALRIGHT WE GOT HIM!! Let's do something stupid to celebrate!!! Derozan?  HAH!! NO!!!  Get us JJ Redick!!  OH OH AND GIVE HIM THIS UNBELIEVABLE CONTRACT TOO!!!"

It is currently their town. They do not own it, but right now, the spotlight is on them. Stop being homers.

No one is mentioning the fact that they lost Chauncey Billups. That is a huge loss because of Billups' leadership qualities. As soon as I saw Billups was heading back to the pistons I wasn't concerned about the clippers whatsoever anymore.

Love how Elie spelled the dude's name wrong in his video. So unprofessional. Not the first time he's done that either nor will it be the last.

Still gotta' respect & dig his activity though. That guy's constantly everywhere. Relentless.

He's right.. the Clips aren't winning a championship tho lol. As long as their frontcourt consists of Griffin and Jordan - no way no how

Just because they were the better team last season despite a first round exit like us and will be the better team this upcoming season as well still doesn't make this their town. You go around not just L.A., but around all of Cali and I guarantee there will be more Laker fans. That's just common sense actually and even a large number of so called "Clipper fans" guarantee are just Laker haters conveniently riding the Clippers all of a sudden because of their recent success over us.

Nick Young on everyone saying it's a Clippers town now

Nick Young:  Everybody likes to talk about that. But you never really know. They had their best season. But last time I checked they went home in the first round too.
