The reality is we could just "trade" for him if we really wanted to after he signed to the Bucks by the All-star break.

Would I give up Meeks for him?  Yes

I like Jennings a lot, but we should do better. Wall is infinitely better.

Wall is marginally better,  maybe. I've seen jennings in the playoffs, Kobe would approve. Wall is a good option but, that basically turns Kobe into the player Paul Pierce i when rondo was on the floor. Wheras Jennings can do a little more off ball, because he is such a threat from the 3.

plus I can't imagine Jennings missing clutch FTs, whereas I can see Wall doing so

Wall won't be leaving the Wiz. Beal & Wall is a nice duo

The thing is, moving forward, I don't want a point guard that Kobe has to do everything for while they score off ball.

in 2015 I want a point guard that we can put the ball in the hands of that will allow Kobe to actually play off ball and not have to expend himself so much.

Wall, Irving and Wall do that, Jennings will not.

Jennings would only be truly effective off ball while Kobe creates everything else to make that happen.

So while Kobe is entering his 19th year I don't want to get a guy that will only be effective if Kobe initiates everything.

We need a point guard that can allow Kobe to play off ball and is competent enough to run a team.

Wall and Rondo can do that, Jennings cannot.

Not if the other guy is Melo or george

Furthermore, we haven't seen jennings play with other players on that level. he and Monta are two younger, players with no real experience in winning, except for times where they took over games and upset some teams.

For example

Jennings

Kobe

Deng

Love

Gasol

or

Jennings

Kobe

George

Pau

Marc

Teams dominated by point guards who aren't reliable shooters don't win in the modern NBA

If you could grab him for 10 million or less, you do it.

Anything more than that, you pass.

I'm thinking more along the lines of them sending us their number 1 pick for next year.   :sly:

No, that's way too much for Jennings.

Idk I just think Sanders has good value and is a solid defensive post presence which is something we really need.  I'm throwing in Nash cause he's aging and his 10 mil a year isnt so great either.

K-Mart can do that and at a way greater discount.
