Abdul-Jabbar told the San Francisco Chronicle last month he met Howard only once and that Howard expressed an interest in learning from the former Lakers captain but he never again reached out to Abdul-Jabbar.

‘He’s charming, he’s charismatic, very nice young man,’ Abdul-Jabbar said. ‘Maturity-wise, he doesn’t get it.’

Well yeah, considering last time Reggie & Kerr never even bothered discussing the game you would think.

At least he was having a jolly time conversing with Mike Brown.

Just warms my heart.

Honestly CDR isn't looking good at all.  Maybe its his injury but boy he doesn't even seem like he can dribble passed defenders ):

To be somewhat fair though, he only played the first 2 or 3 minutes of the game and wasn't put in again till like 4 minutes left before the half. Hard to get in a rhythm when that's the case plus he's playing through a gruesome injury that probably only Kobe would play through.

The amount of excuses you guys make for CDR is ridiculous. The guy is not going to make the team.

Even so he's really not looking right running wise like he can't push off that foot the way he wants to, and coming off the sprained ankle it's understandable.

But he can help us in ways other than scoring and he's doing just fine, looking to facilitate more so and isn't trying to force the issue on offense which imo would look bad.

Pretty much what I wish Snaer would do.  The only issue I see with Snaer is his tendency to force things or do too much at times.

Lol, I was obviously being somewhat sarcastic. Did you not read the gruesome injury Kobe comment? I thought that would've easily gave it away.

Anyway though, honestly, I have no idea what's up regarding him and or the Laker's plans on him. I don't know how severe the injury was or what, but I'm honestly confused with what's going on. He starts & plays for like 3 minutes, then isn't put in until 3 or 4 minutes left before the half. Not sure what's goin' on. He's got 0 shot attempts and one made free throw and attempt off a technical I believe.

Anyway though, Landry & Hayward looking awesome.

Wait you said Glock is still with us???

Why was he playing for the Bulls team in Vegas?

why isn't he on our team?

We decided to go with the guy who can't create his own shot or make a layup to save his life instead.

The only issue I see with Snaer is his tendency to force things or do too much at times.

He probably feels even more pressure to make the team so he's more desperate to leave an impression trying to score & stand out.

YES! CDR attacking the basket. He was about to posterize that dude but got fouled. Damn.

Sick free throws. Nothing but net. Incredible.

One thing I do like to see in Summer league are players that play within their system and don't try to do too much outside of it and play it more as a team effort.

Like to see a little more of that from a few of our players but for the most part we're playing like a "team" which I like.

Wow, nice attack from CDR. He's great at that. Needs to do it more. Draws contact & fouls rather easily. Does the verbal flop like Kobe too.

Terry Stotts is one of the most exciting guys to listen to. He needs to have his own prime-time show.
