With Kobe being out until at least December, will it help bond the team?? Will the fact that the ball SHOULD move a lot help everyone's confidence. LA will not have the Kobe crutch for about 35 to 45 games and a great healthy camp. Will that make them better?? It just seems I remember this story before and Pau was the starting center at that time also.

You don't know when Kobe is coming back.

I don't know when Kobe is coming back.

Kobe doesn't even know when Kobe is coming back.

I'm pretty sure he will be there for season opener. I was listening to dr. Klapper on the radio and even he thinks so.

He won't miss that many games but it should let MDA and Nash install the gameplan the way they want to.  I think it will give some of the new players confidence in their place within the offense also.

SO yes, I think Kobe sitting out will help.

Shoulders, ankles and fingers are one thing. This is totally different. If I was Kobe, I wouldn't try to play superman this time. No pun intended

^ But you're not and Kobe's a completely different animal. If you've followed the Lakers long enough, you would know that.

Again, no one knows when Kobe is coming back.

Kobe knows this isn't an injury to mess around with. His doctor and the Lakers training staff need to clear him before he takes the court.

I have a question for you.

Are you a different animal and the same beast?

I hear you. A bunch of selfish MF who think Kobe isn't a normal human being They don't understand that a threshold for pain is one thing and this type of injury is a different animal. And if he comes back early and then he hurts it again they will be the same AHOLES blaming it on MDA, the FO and the doctors

It's just the usual offseason thing. Happens more this time of year than any other.

You know how doctors sometimes bend things for superstars. Ask Michael Jackson. Oops can't.  I just hope he takes his time. We need him to play it safe this year in order to get this 6th ring in a year or two. I just know from experience he will still be healing during the season. And the way he plays it needs to be very RIGHT. For those idiots who think this is a 5 month injury just because it's Kobe really need to either experience it or read up on it. Its no effin joke. I'd rather have a broken arm and drink a bunch of milk  LOL

Everyone hopes kobe will do the smart thing, a lot of people say crap about rose sitting the last season, but he knows his body and he did the right thing, now he's healthy and that knee should hold now

Michael Jackson... Kobe Bryant.  Got it.

Well then...

He'll take his time.  Kobe's not screwing around with an injury that has ended careers.
