I don't think a fanbase has ever been so happy prior to a superstar leaving...  It's good too see people are finally moving on from the whole Dwight thing.  Next year will be a fun season guys.  Rain or shine we'll pull threw and make the best of it with these newly acquired young guns.

Nash, Nate Robinson, Blake, Farmar
Kobe, Wesley Johnson, Meeks, Selby hopefully
Young, Stephen Jackson, Ronnie Brewer, CDR hopefully, Landry hopefully
Hill, K-Mart, Odom, R.Kelly
Gasol, Kaman, Brandan Wright, Sacre

Top 5 deepest team in the league right there hands down.

Nash might too.

let's not forget Dwight had the audacity to call Steve Nash... STEVE NASH... a bad teammate....

I haven't given up on Nash yet.

I think a lot of people are writing him off because he had an injury-riddled season, but he's still an above average offensive point guard. And his boyfriend is the coach, so he will cater to his every need.

He's old as dirt but I don't think he ever really got into a good rhythm last season. Honestly. Hopefully he can stay healthy because we're going to need him during the opening stretch of the year as Kobe gets back to full strength.

We have an okay team. We'll compete.

^ Farmar any second now. They're still working on finalizing it as we speak. It's extremely complicated.

You talk like your an insider and its pretty funny. They better get a big man

When you look at the players we've signed they are the kind Nash has made a career out of looking good.

and.... yeah I was right about Wes Johnson dropping 29 against us

Wesley Johnson's career high of 29pts was of course...... Against the Lakers

Acquire Brandan Wright, Ronnie Brewer, and somehow if Mitch can pull off Nate Robinson we can possibly be a 6th - 7th seed.  Then trade Steve Blake and Jodie Meeks for either a future 2nd round pick or an overlooked sg/sf.

I actually think our bench is gonna be a exciting running up and down the floor bunch

It'll be fun to watch, I do find it funny that Dwight was so willing to give up and Mitch was able to do this all with the vet min

And if Dwight state he could've used the mini MLE on something else

Instead he left to a shallower team and will go rindless. Good decision

They're getting young guys that can flourish under D'Antoni. Young athletic wing players, that the Lakers always needed. Look what happened when they game Earl Clark a chance. Wes Johnson was a lottery pick, maybe they can get something out of him.

That's what happens when people doubt the Lakers front office.

Dwight was probably like "Who they gonna sign? lol I go to Houston, Josh Smith follows, this gon be cake"

Suddenly

"Josh Smith signs to the Pistons"

Dwight goes "um....wow..well still who the heck could the Lakers get with the mini mid and the vets min! haha"

Lakers sign Chris Kaman, Nick Young, Jordan Farmar, Wesley Johnson.

Dwight goes to Rockets management "come on guys!! Who did ya'll sign? Delfino again right!?!"

Management goes "no but um...we got francisco Garcia back.."

Lakers sign Chris Kaman, Nick Young, Jordan Farmar, Wesley Johnson.

Nate Robinson, Stephen Jackson, Kenyon Martin, and Brandan Wright are all better players than the last two. Ronnie Brewer & Lamar Odom are better than Wesley Johnson as well, but probably not Farmar right now. That's somewhat debatable.

Thank god. I don't want Odom or Maggette. This isn't 09-10 anymore, those guys are so washed up. Getting these young players to come in for the minimum is great. If they pan out, fantastic, we now have a little bit of young talent. If not, who cares? This is going to be a down year anyway, at least give some young guys a shot instead of the same old tired players getting run out of the building.

Considering the circumstances, I think Young, Farmar, Kaman, and Johnson are great pickups, and they're all cheap one year contracts.

Totally agree with you. Its a win win situation. We could possibly keep these young guys in 2014, depending how they pan out. We could also trade them at the trade deadline for picks or even S&T them in 2014 if they get their value up. Now they may just be a big fail, but in the end it wont matter because they are only 1 year deals. This season could be a throwaway or we might even surprise. Either way these VM signings are low risk, high rewards.

What they've done is surround Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, and Pau Gasol

With a bunch of young players and depth.  They built this team pretty much the way that other texas team did.  The 3 of your main core.  Surrounded by youth and depth.

Problem is we don't have that other texas team's coach.

But the current coach we do have has made a career on making the types of players we picked up look good.

So we'll see.

Our bench definitely is gonna run more "his" style than our starting lineup.

Kenyon Martin isn't better than anyone. He is a loser

Nate Robinson isnt going anywhere for the vet min

Stephen Jackson is mentally gone, his child died and he's old.

Lamar odom may still come here.

Ronnie brewer is every bit as bad on offense as Johnson but 2 years older

Brandon wright is a ok player, but nobody to yearn for
