Wait... Hol up..... I am seriously more excited about this season than last season. Championship or not, I am really happy with all the free agent signings. Youth and athleticsm. Good job Mitch and Jim.

I honestly think if Mitch is able to sign Brandan Wright for the vets min, our bench will be nearly complete and will be very exciting to watch once Kobe comes back to full health.

Steve Blake, Nick Young, Wesley Johnson, Jordan Hill, and Brandan Wright would really be something interesting.

Let's take a look at our team as far as youth goes

Youth
Nick Young, Jodie Meeks, Jordan Hill, Wesley Johnson, Jordan Farmar, Ryan Kelly, Sacre(won't play)

Veterans
Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, Kaman

So we got our 4 main vets, surrounded by youth.

We need one more small forward to round out the man rotation as I expect Farmar and Sacre to be on Reserve

The off-season a certain someone gives up on our front office we get a deeper bench

It's funny.

We're deeper than the Rockets in my mind.

We brought in a bunch of young guys that Dwight could joke around with all he wants when we're losing, too. Guys like Young and Johnson are young, athletic guys that appeal to Howard's personality.

But as it stands, Houston is not that much better than our team. With Dwight aboard, we could've been a MUCH better team this following season.

But [expletive] happens.

The "Young and athletic" Houston Rockets aren't looking so supremely young and athletic.  Silly D12.

Hell yeah we're deeper than the Rockets...

They have Jeremy Lin at the point that already places them in the negative zone (this is coming from an Asian American haha)

^ Farmar any second now. They're still working on finalizing it as we speak. It's extremely complicated.

imagine we still had Dwight I think with this current roster we could have made a run for it... but ho well D12's IQ matches his jersey number if not the number of kids he has (6)...

Exactly. Dwight with this roster is better than the Rockets current roster. This year would've been a contending season had Dwight stayed. Whatever, he'll regret it.

Cause they are out of cap space they used it all to sign the guy.

They then missed out on signing Josh Smith and have no way to deepen their bench cause they cut everyone to sign D-12.

I just thought he was smarter than to sign there and walk into that terrible situation but he wasn't.

In the meantime in our darkest hour we've deepened our bench and if you look at this lineup had he stayed, he'd be looking at a chance at a championship legit this year.

But he turned tail and ran and now will watch the Rockets during this off-season as they walk into next season having lost half of their 3 point shooters and with the worst bench in the league which will make Dwight and Harden have to play 48 mins a night to keep that team contending.

While Kobe gets more rest because of the likes of Nick Young backing him up.

Houston GAINS a superstar.

Los Angeles LOSES a superstar.

Yet their is not as big of a gap in terms of talent between the 2 teams as their should be.

LOL.

Kobe's going to light Houston up badder than he does the team Dahntay Jones is on.

I will say that Wes Johnson is someone that always seemed to raise his game against Kobe.  Him and Derrick Williams as well as Nick Young.

Wes Johnson if I remember scored 29 against us that year.
