We have zero small forwards with MWP gone. I think Tyrus would be a nice tall athletic SF. LA and Kobe could get the best out of him

No more 50 year olds. Didn't you learn anything from last year?? I'd rather a young with potential playing a role in a place he wold like to be than K-Mart. K-Mart is if we were one piece away from a championship. Not to mention we have two true PF's already. Tyrus can play the 3 and 4

Pass. Let's see what the amnesty/waive situation can generate. Thomas and Kmart are both persona non gratis imo.

I think Tyrus Thomas is an interesting guy to look at. We are already looking pretty good with what we have up front, though a bit of athleticism, length and shot-blocking would be nice.

Yup!! Another guy with major gifts that needs to prove himself. That's our make up right now. I think In the LA No Nonsense world it world be great. The guy is getting paid almost 10 mil from the Bobcats. Minimum shouldn't be a problem. How hard you play for Jordan upstairs and how hard you play for Kobe with you on the court are two different things

What's his talent?  Jumping high?  He's 27, he's about 6 years in as a player and isn't good at particularly anything on the court outside of the occasional highlight dunk or block.  He is 27 with 0 bball skills.  Lakers aren't the greatest at developing guys or using guys to their strengths either.  Our teams have been purely fueled by having atleast 2 of the best guys in the game and a few great role players.  Only way Thomas doesnt end up in Europe going forward is if a team like the Spurs pick him up and try to utilize him to the best of their ability.  Can't shoot, poor defender, avg rebounder, too small to bang but too slow to play the 3.

No.  If Beasley is a better defender than you lately and you have no offense or the ability to stay health than no.
