Well we've only been through 3 games so we'll see what happens,

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

I think everyone knows that Lamar Odom has the ability to take over whenever he wants (as he is matched up against players that are either slower or smaller than him), but, for some strange reason, he doesn't. He has all the tools to be a great player, he's just never utilized them effectively enough over the course of his NBA career.

Fair enough. But he does potential.

I don't think you can really call it potential when he's going to be 29 in four days

Not really a hater, though I am disappointed with him most of the time b/c he does not take advantage of his opposition for the most part.

Listen people...Lamar is not a great offensive player...he doesnt make layups consistently, he doesnt hit shots consistetly...he is versatile but that does not translate into dominance...if you are a jack of all trades you are a king of none and that bodes true for Odom, that doesnt mean he isnt a very good player at times with flashes of greatness, he isnt the MAN and never will be

Now, I am a little dissapointed in his performance off he bench, but give it 15 games and the lakers will make a decision on the guy, he could still be traded or he just wont be pursued next year or he will flourish
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

I absolutely love Lamar off the bench. Any time you LO, Ariza, Sasha, and Farmar on the floor its exciting. That unit completely changes the tempo of the game. The quickness of this 2nd unit seems to be driving the other teams nuts.

I think the speed helps Lamar's game because it forces him to react quicker and more instinctively which is when he plays his best.
