Would there be any scenario where LeBron and Kobe would both play for the Lakers in 2014/15?

I just don't get this whole "We're the Lakers, we shouldn't take LeBron" mindset.

The guys is the best player in the game. Period.  We had one of the biggest floppers in NBA history in Derek Fisher and we loved him.

Last I checked, the Lakers have a history for having the best players play for them.  Now I don't think it will happen unless we have Phil Jackson in the front office in a major capacity, but to say you don't want him here is flat out ridiculous.

Yeah honestly I was flabbergasted that people wouldn't want BOTH him and Carmelo on the team at the same time.  If you have the chance to get both you GET BOTH!

I've always liked Steve Blake.

Some of these people won't admit it, but some of them are obviously bigger Kobe fans than Laker fans if they feel more threatened and offended about LeBron coming to the Lakers rather than using logic and true fandom in knowing he would give our team (the Lakers) the best chance of winning, which is what being a fan of a team is supposed to be all about.

Would love to see Lebron here but he will choose Miami or Cavs before the Lakers. Just my opinion.

Would be great for the franchise to get Lebron in 2014. But even with Phil jackson doing the pitch - we will have a very small chance.

And given the current FO - we may try to land him 2018.

Phil coming back would have to be a given to give the ultimate pitch to LeBron. Getting a chance to play for the greatest NBA coach of all-time as well as MJ's? I'm sure that'd be very attractive for LeBron.
