“I’ve never really worried about being called soft or people thinking I’m soft,” the Los Angeles Clippers‘ star power forward said. “If anybody wants to step and take that challenge I’m more than happy — off the court — because I don’t want to get suspended. It’s not something that I dwell on. I’ve never really had a problem with being soft.”

i get it. I sorta agree with him as far as trying to keep his record clean. but he needs to be more agressive when it comes to defending.. and when it comes to offense in the post. Griffen can be a GREAT player.. just needs to take his mental focus up a notch. He sure has the athleticism for it...

and body, strength, & potential physicality for it as well. It's all mental really. Doc being the great motivator that he is might finally help him change it.

I agree with SAS up until 1:18 -- I don't know if it will change. ;)

That's a pretty immature thing to say. You're a 6'10" professional athlete. No need to feel so insecure to the point that you start threatening people like that.

Stop flopping and stop trying to be a jump-shooter, get your ass in the post (and do something other than try to dunk the ball while you're down there) and soon you'll find no one calling you soft.

Too bad he's headed in a direction that supports none of that.

He has such a different mentality than he had his rookie season where he had to be the man on his team.  Seems after getting CP3 his mentality sort of got eased and he took a backwards step in developing as well.  Cause I remember what happened to people that messed with him his rookie year..

Almost like a completely different guy.

Overrated.. Can he improve? by looking into the way he shoots a jumper, i doubt lol.

Dunks are fun when its the last piece of the puzzle, but not as the only thing to do.

I hate how he is overhyped. And because of that, i hate his game, his swag if any. Hating the clippers has alot to do with it too.

i honestly liked him more his rookie year when he had to carry that team.  Played with more of an edge.

Ever since CP3 came he seemed to stop wanting to work on his game cause of how easy Cp3 made it for him.

And ever since then his efficiency has gone down....

Rookie Season 22/12

second year 20/10

third year 18/8

   kid should have had more time to grow... kept that edge and everything.. but with CP3 there I doubt he feels the need to anymore.  Which is a shame.  Kid looked like he was about to be something special.
