I know a Celtics fan should never try to help the Lakers. I know I should bite my tongue. I know I should hope Jimmy Buss keeps ruining his family's team, I know I should be hoping that they'll kowtow to Kobe and make the Lakers juuuuuuuust decent enough to be irrelevant, and that a decade of Blowtime would be my best possible outcome here.

I wonder if Bill is still salty about Doc. I heard Doc tried talking to him like an adult, and Bill calmed down. Idiot.

You all shoud quit ignoring Julius Randle. Jabari Parker is not the shoo-in #2 pick.

I feel the same exact way that Simmons does. We shouldn't compete for a 8th seed or whatever, but tanking won't happen.

His plan is perfect.

Also, he is probably right that the Lakers won't do it though.

i want the same thing

if we just did something ala simmons way and landed wiggins thats our next kobe, another franchise player to build around for the next 15 years and would be awesome

pipe dream though...

Lakers don't tank any season. This is the lakers. Not youre regular 29 teams. We compete.

He's right about the fact that mediocrity is the worst thing that this team can do next season. Which is what I've been saying all along. Better to get a top 10 pick in the draft than be a 8-10 seed in the West. That will actually make it more likely to FAs to sign anyways.

people saying Wiggins-the next kobe.

Don't you get TALENT ain't [expletive].

dwight has ALL the talent...he ain't close to Kobe

hell, LeBron ain't proven to be Kobe.

people need to chill on Wiggins, before he has played one game. He could easily get hurt in college or just be a great player but not kobe,Magic, Jerry West great

i don't want nothing but that type of HEArt along with the skill and talent
