hence forth why it would be a bad idea to amnesty Metta.

We would need to sign 3 viable wings in order to cover that, and one that can start... And for vets min?

Whoever we sign could probably do what Artest does. Vets min > What Artest would cost us.

CDR would be the best player on the roster after Meeks, could probably jump him and Blake if given the chance. We just need some wings man. Get a few of these kids that are hungry and humble from the summer league and DL, maybe they could provide something if given the opportunity.

Ronnie Brewer

Wesley Johnson

Mickael Petrus

Corey Maggette

Luke Babbit

Alan Anderson

Sam Young

Terrance Williams

James White

Damien Wilkins

Take your pick.  It will most likely be one of these guys for the veteran's minimum.

I guess we won't be able to sign Corey Brewer, huh?

I love his game. high octane, tenacious defense with quick hands and feet, cuts and slashes, decent range although he might be undersized to play SF position, but if Rondo can defend on LeBron, why not Brewer.

Nash is 38 years old and done! His passing lanes get cut off by longer more athletic point guards because his speed is lacking... There will always be room in the NBA for bigger point guards because even after the speed is gone, they still have their size (Payton, Kidd, Stockton, Harper). Wall is 6'5 and is working with Gary Payton as we speak! Iguodala would have been great to put along side Kobe also at the small forward position. He could have helped out alot for defensive and athletic deficiencies we have. We still need a big man beside Pau. Chris Kaman might be a tough enough body but we have to see. My ideal starting 5 would be

Wall

Bryant

Iguodala

Gasol

Kaman

Iguodala is with the warriors now so finding a guy that is athletic, can shoot and plays exceptional defense is what should be in mind plus speed at the guard position off the bench like we used to have in Farmer, Brown and sasha.

This is a Phil type team(Athletic and defensive minds that can play in a system) and even D'antoni can win with this team because its athletic and fast at the point guard position.

CDR needs Kobe to take him to Germany, to fix his knee. Reports are that he has no knee issues, but I've watched him enough to tell that he does. I remember him spraining it a LONG time ago, but I believe it's still bothering him. His jumper has changed, dramatically, and he's not getting to the rim as easily...and he's too young for that to be happening so soon in his career.

If he was in his rookie or sophomore year, I would trust him as a starter on THIS particular Lakers team. Right now, he's a backup three, no longer able to play the two.

hence forth why it would be dumb to and misty meadow considering on our roster situation

LOL.

Corey is still out there.

that would be a steal . He still can get to the FT line and is still more athletic than Metta

Rudy Gay for draft picks, cash, box of rocks, and some season passes to Disneyland California adventure.

Collangelo is gone so I bet the new guy is not familiar with this mitch kupcheck dude.

If not an option go after Mickael Petrus

That frightens me....

Add this to list: Hedo Turkoglu

He will be released by Magic for $6m. He has intentions to return to Turkey for retirement but he can play one more year with some good minutes and in a great city. He's earned all the money he can in his career, he might want to look at one last chance.

He'd be ideal, but will never sign for the vet-minimum. He'll get much more somewhere else...
