Yeah I'm exaggerating but there's obviously an implication that they are all good defenders.

What does that mean though? Randle is a below average defender and Lin and Hill are suspect at best.

Lin's a better defender than he used to be though not elite by any means.  Hill is fine at defense. Ed Davis is much MUCH better but Hill is good at reacting to the help side.   But if you're a center or forward with post up skills or moves(Ala Al Jefferson, Zbo, Aldridge or Howard) then Hill's in trouble and a lot of it.
