I would add CDR as the backup SF. No need for Sasha now, too many guards.

As it stands our roster is

C - Pau Gasol / Chris Kaman / Robert Sacre

PF - Jordan Hill / Ryan Kelly

SF -

SG - Kobe Bryant / Nick Young / Jodie Meeks

PG - Steve Nash / Steve Blake / Jordan Farmar

Potential signs: Lamar Odom, Chris Douglas-Roberts

That would put our roster at 13

If Warriors can trade overpayed, old, unproductive Richard Jefferson for Andre Igoudala, yes we can trade Blake who has performed good last season for a starting SF. And if Mbah Moute is traded for mere 2nd round pick, yes we can trade Blake for a starting SF.

 Not all starting SFs are Kevin Durant.

Wtf
Mbah moute got traded?

You know... if we get CDR and Odom, and potentially Brewer

If we looked at this roster under Phil Jackson....we would be talking about contending.. quite possibly a late playoff run or more.

For all intents and purposes it's deeper than our 09-10 championship roster and our 08-09.  Sub Artest who was a BIG factor  but sub Ariza from the 08-09 as well.

Let's look at where the upgrades would be

Core is the same(Bynum wasn't really core)

Fisher is now Steve Nash
Shannon is now Nick Young
Powell is now Jordan Hill
Mbenga is now Chris Kaman
Ariza is now Chris Douglas-Roberts

If we looked at this roster under Phil... we'd be talking about doing some major damage and possibly being one piece away from championship contenders.  I think anyway.

Lakers have 9 guys under contract for $74.8 mill. Farmar + Ryan Kelly would give them 11. Who else? Stephen Jackson? CD-R? Adam Morrison?

I would love Stephen Jacks here

CDR probably will be the one hopefully.  I think he'd be the starting 3.

Nash/Blake/Farmar?
Bryant/Meeks
Young/Johnson
Hill/Kelly
Gasol/Kaman/Sacre

Not bad we just got alot younger, thats for sure lol. We probably add another PF and were set. We have 2 spots remaining after that so its up to training camp invitees to FORCE the Lakers to sign them with big showings and performances. They may want to leave a spot open for possible trades.
