Bill Ingram @TheRocketGuy

A source with direct knowledge of the situation confirms Rockets working hard to move Jeremy Lin ... very limited interest for teams.

Was he that bad last season? Wasn't it mainly injuries that held him up.

He's not a horrible player exactly, but it's mainly that toxic contract of his I think that scares teams away. He's good, but nowhere near his contract value.

Right cause I remember the beginning of the season when the Rockets had that hot start, people were saying  Harden/Lin were a potent duo. Still why rush and trade him, it isn't like you have a shot at Smith anymore, no other major free agent left. Why continue to diminish your depth.

Maybe Dwight's informed them he's not a fan of his game and already Houston's trying to show him that "unconditional love" the manchild so desperately needs & craves.

And so it begins.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Other teams aren't interested in Mr. Lin because they see the potential of pairing him & Howard, pushing the Houston Rockets into finals contention.

Only way I'll take Jeremy Lin is Houston buyout Lin. Then I'd gladly take the Harvard Grad, since we will only have to pay him $1 mil or less, because he will still be making bank off of Houston. :mitch:

I'd love to have Lin on our team, he absolutely thrived under D'Antoni

I wouldn't want to trade for him either.

Makes too much money and he's just not that good.

I'm one of those ppl that think his first year in NY was a fluke.

Dude had an amazing year in NY, but unless he can average like 15 and 8 to me he'll be just another PG.

Lin's contract is absolutely terrible, no surprise whatsoever.
