We need a point guard.  Duh.

I agree that we have zero tradable assets.  Next year is going to suck.

We dont want bad shot selection jennings. Low field goal percentage with bad decision and less court vision

If Kobe takes a pay cut which I believe he will. (Kobe always works the media) The Lakers will have money to offer two max contracts and a 16 million a year salary. I dont believe in getting two max players like melo or lebron but building a TEAM. Paul George, Wall, Cousins combined with Kobe and Pau and a bench which blake, young and hill would still be on! Kobe has always been looking for his Pippen (George)

I believe Lakers will be able to sign 3 max by delaying kobe's new contract

Can you fill up the cap, and then offer an extension? Even if it is a max one?

Trash, if Lakers and the fans are serious about making a run this year just hold on to Blake.  Marshall is being traded after a year for a very good reason.

So what would the Lakers offer them if they want value?  If it is a fire sale trade he isn't worth giving up any decent player we have not even Steve Blake.  I've watched KM in college.  He has a decent PG vision but the rest of his game is bad.

I'm not saying we should get him but he's not on sale because he's bad. There are about 45 better PGs in the league than him. We are in a PG-era. But if he was given a chance, and proper minutes, he could transform into a decent team player that can carry the PG load.

Based on what exactly? And if we are the last player I want to try to groom is an unathletic, poor shooting one.  The new PG era is being led by guys that normally would be combo guards.  KM is not that type of player and can't be transformed or groomed into one either.

Kendall Marchall is trash and blake is a great backup! Jordan Farmer is better than Marshall on a off day. Love Blake backing up Wall or playing beside him when Kobe is resting. Coming off the bench with Nick young, Hill and jamison

Along with Paul George would be alot cheaper than two top guys like Lebron and Carmelo plus its a future move with two 22 year olds and a 23 year old playing with Kobe and Pau. Kobe will take less money. He has always bluffed the media for headlines.cousins-wall-uk.jpg

Sign Melo, Cousins and Wall. :)

Why not defensive minded George instead of Melo. Do you really think there are enough balls for Kobe and Melo? Now George would take pride in being Pippen and playing alot of defense. Imagine George matched up with Durant and 6'5 Wall matched up with 6'4 Westbrook. Kobe free lacing lol and pick and roll defense would be a pro because we can switch at every position plus Pau and Cousins against Ibaka and Perkins. See the league is about matchups and Wall would rather pass than be the man. he likes to make his teammates look good unless he is going up for a dunk. Like the point guard Westbrook wants to be!
