Hearing Devin Harris is on his way back to Dallas. Mavericks and Harris are closing in on three-year, $9+ million deal

So they just committed $35 million to an average point guard in Harris and a slightly above average point guard in Calderon.

How smart.

Nice moves after the title. Breaking up that championship squad is totally paying off.

Well, we didn't break up our championship team 3 years ago.  And yet, here we are in the exact same position as they are.  Except they haven't been paying luxury taxes all these years, and they haven't auctioned off their future draft picks.

I'm told that Devin Harris deal reported by @ESPNSteinLine is for same terms originally agreed to last summer (3 years, $9-plus million).

Mavericks & Devin Harris putting finishing touches today on expected three-year deal. Priority for Dallas especially after Calderon traded

3yr/9mil; still enough to pursue Melo?

I'm not sure, but I see this as a way of the Mavericks conceding that melo isn't going there.
