A line up of Nash, Kobe, Metta, Odom and Pau would have an average age of 34.6.

At least they can all discuss what senior citizen benefits they all get.

He isn't leaving the Clippers.

I wouldn't say that as a definite.

Regardless of what happened a couple seasons ago, Lamar Odom was proud to be a Laker and would love to be one again.

The Lakers have a chance to offer him more playing time (possibly as a starter), playing alongside Kobe, Gasol, and Metta.  It will be an interesting situation to follow.

I wouldn't be shocked either way.

You think coming back to the Lakers would fix that mental turmoil he's been going through?

Well considering that mental turmoil happened when the Lakers traded him, it's a possibility.

Lamar Odom is a mental case, we know that.  But the best Lamar Odom is a comfortable one.  He started playing well towards the end of last season.  Playing for the Lakers could re-energize him.

In no way would I expect him to be "6th man of the year" LO, but he could still be productive if he's in a comfortable spot.

Would he be able to do what Clark did?  That's what I'm mostly asking

Don't see why not.

Clark was 7 & 5 last season.  Lamar can average 6-8 rebounds and I'm sure he can put up 7-10 points if he's comfortable.

I say we get LO back and have Kobe, Pau, and Odom secretly run the triangle. I doubt D'Antoni would ever notice.

I doubt D'antoni would care.

As long as he kept his job

He isn't leaving the Clippers.

Why not. He barely got playing time with them and its not like he would care so much about a ring that he would ride the bench all season. He already has two which he earned. That ring would be meaningless.

Seeing all those player emoticons gets me thinking by the way, did we ever even make a Dwight one?
