Wow Lamar is so out of it.  I wondered what his wife thinks.  I know the Kardashian is a punch line and drama queens but atleast they don't go into these kind of issues in their life.  Is Khloe going to get a divorce from him?

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Look at these idiots. Can't he just run them over?

One could hope. I despise Paparazzi. Not even a real job.

Now you know what "Candy Man" stood for SMFH.

I knew Lamar shouldn't have taken his gateway drug:

It's been free fall since the botched trade. Man, I miss the sixth man LO days. Loved him like many of the others here when he was in purple and gold. Hope he finds some clarity soon.

Is Khloe going to get a divorce from him?

I doubt it. She's been on record saying her number one priority is saving Lamar first & foremost rather than saving their marriage.

Crack is more efficiently absorbed by the body and is cheaper.  Crack is also harder to break as an addiction.  It's on par with Meth and heroin.

Crack is like Everclear.

Coke is like Scotch.

Weed is like Champagne.

Addicts rarely plateau in their drug use.  They develop a tolerance for one drug and escalate by moving on to a different, more efficient delivery method or change drug of choice altogether, chasing that elusive first high...

I have never even smoked a joint, cigarette or drank a beer so I'm not speaking from experience.  I do have friends and family who are addicts.  It's not pretty.  While drug addiction doesn't preclude success, most addicts don't have the DESIRE to succeed at anything other than "scoring" more drugs.

If LO was serious about the NBA, he wouldn't need family and friends telling him he needs help.  He'd come out pleading for it himself.  An addict that thinks he's got it under control is an addict that will NOT stop using.  LO will not be much good to anyone until he hits rockbottom and admits that he not only needs help but also WANTS help.  Not for his family...not for his friends...not to get back into the NBA...but for himself and himself alone.

It's NOT?

you see the success of TMZ, People magazine, US weekly, etc etc

Paps make a TOUGH living and famous people aren't like the first generation of entertainers who had to deal with them

that being said, they are annoying

There is a history of abuse in his family through his father. There have been studies showing that tendencies toward addiction can be passed down genetically, possibly making it harder for LO. Not saying that as an excuse, but it is something to consider.

Lamar Odom to lose driver's license after DUI arrest, CHP says

Veteran NBA player Lamar Odom, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Friday morning, will see his driver's license suspended for a year because he refused to submit to chemical testing at a police station.

California Highway Patrol Officer Leland Tang said Odom was unable to complete a field sobriety test, and once at the station he refused chemical tests to determine his level of alleged intoxication.

Drivers suspected of DUI may refuse to take tests in the field, but once they are at a police station, they are required to take a chemical test. If they refuse, they lose their driving privileges for a year.

Lamar Odom was in minor crash days before DUI arrest

Less than a week before Lamar Odom's DUI arrest early Friday, the NBA veteran was involved in a three-car collision on the same freeway.

The crash was not reported to authorities, but Los Angeles Times reporter Adolfo Flores said his car was rear-ended by another vehicle hit by Odom's white Mercedes on Saturday. The incident occurred about 6 p.m. near the Gower Street exit on the southbound side of the 101 Freeway, Flores said.

Flores said he got out of his car after the crash to exchange insurance information with the other drivers. When he asked Odom for his information, he said, the 6-foot-10 forward -- who most recently played with the Clippers and is now a free agent -- asked why he needed it. Flores said he told Odom he needed the information because they were in a car accident, to which Odom replied: "It doesn't even look that bad."

Dude, lol...

I've never smoked a cigarette, weed, or drank a sip of alcohol in my life, so I can't sit here and speak from personal experiences.  However, I have family and friends who were/are addicts, and to the point where it's horrible to be around.  It may not have stopped them from getting jobs, but honestly, most addicts I've been in contact with want NOTHING MORE than achieving that high.

I read your post, remembered that I talked about never drinking or smoking once before...and the posts are almost identical, hahaha.
