It was sad to see him get an opportunity every now & then with Memphis in the playoffs, particularly against the Spurs when they were so desperate for shooters and offense and still couldn't do much, meanwhile K-Mart was playing much more consistently and having an impact on the court for the Knicks, especially on the defensive end & doing all the dirty work overall.

It's very simple.

If you want the guy that'll help you win more right now, it's hands down K-Mart.

If you want the guy that'll be more of a project still, but have more potential, and could eventually help you more in the future it's Austin Daye.

He could work hard in the gym all he wants and would never be a Lamar Odom type.  They don't even have similar skill sets.  Lamar was a point forward for most of his career.  Austin Daye is an overgrown SF with a great outside jumper.  At his age if the handles and PG skills are their he wont develop them no matter how hard he hits the gym

It would be a solid addition.  I feel like he could become a Lamar Odom like player especially with his shooting  ability.  If he works hard and puts time in the gym he could become better.  Doesn't quite rebound and defend well but those things can be gained.

Who will the Clippers sign next? Sources say they are still interested in Lamar Odom.

Lol, even after they sign Mullens they still want him.

Wish I could give better answer on Lamar. Last I'd heard he and Mitch had a good conversation awhile ago-1st step to repairing relationship.

Since then... it's hard to say. Lakers, Clippers remain interested. But there are other factors involved

I mean for [expletive]s sake the guy was being traded for the best PG in the league. Guy takes this [expletive] way to personal.

Too much pride really is a big problem throughout society. Not enough humility these days.

We need more defense. K-Mart destroys those two in that category.

Man, I'm hoping Hill can play a full season. I wouldn't mind K.Mart... Defensive minded and still has springs in his legs

so what is the hold up with Lamar?  Is it because of his personal issues again?   Lamar got more drama than a soup opra tv show

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Hearing @RealLamarOdom might be coming around to joining Lakers, but Lakers not sold on what he can give them. So, still unlikely.

Lakers just sign him for Kobe. Vet and brings in great chemistry, he can still rebound, pass, defend 3-5 position. Then if it does not work out let him retire or go to other teams until retirement ie Fisher.
