The Lakers aren't going to sign and trade for a SG looking for a big score. With Gasol, Bynum's upcoming extension, and Kobe's possible opt out for more money, it makes zero sense to add another long term salary on a player that we don't need at all.

Ben Gordon for Lamar? Haha i don't think so. Gordon is totally overrated, wildly inconsistent [more than Lamar], no defense, undersized, 2 guard in a point guard's body.

Terrible idea. You need to watch Gordon on a regular basis. If his shot isn't falling he provides literally nothing else. Odom is a far better player.

The only thing I would trade LO for is a true SF who has a perimeter game and has adequate experience playing the position.

I like Ben Gordon. He did pretty well for my fantasy team a few years back. He's had a few 40-point games (I think) and had that one game when he shot 9/9 three's. But realistically, he's a spark plug OFF the bench and doesn't do anything except score points. Kobe is VERY effective moving up to SF in certain situations during a game. However, I'm not so sure he'd be as effective if he logged heavy minutes. He's 6-6, 205lbs and fares better guarding smaller, quicker players rather than bulky forwards like LBJ, Carmelo, and Pierce (although Kobe will shut all of them down during crunch time )

If we get anyone from the Bulls, I want Hinrich or Deng, please (and Deng isn't going anywhere). I like Gordon, but he's not fit for this team unless Kobe is gone.
