The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

First of all, no to your original idea. We don't need a one dimensional, undersized shooter being paid $14 million.
Secondly, where the hell did you get the idea that Odom is going to be our guard and Kobe is going to play the 3?

Hell No. Let's trade a 15 and 10 player for a one dimensional player that doesn't play defense.
Moving Kobe to the 3 is a horrible decision.

Terrible idea. You need to watch Gordon on a regular basis. If his shot isn't falling he provides literally nothing else. Odom is a far better player.

The only thing I would trade LO for is a true SF who has a perimeter game and has adequate experience playing the position.
