Him and Howard want to play together. Dwight comes we most likely get him as simple as that.

Dwight thought Nash was a good fit for him too as Nash is a good facilitator and shooter off the dribble. Guess it doesn't work because he doesn't like where Nash passes it?

It actually puzzles me why Nash and Howard pick and rolls aren't destroying teams like I thought they would. I mean Nash made Gortat look amazing in PHX, yet Dwight is ten times the player and he isn't having the expected success with the pick and roll.

I don't know what the exact article was, but I remember reading something about how they're used to running the pick and roll differently. If Nash of all people didn't fit Dwight's bill, I'm not sure how Calderon can. If he does come though, it's good guard depth along with some chemistry with Pau if he's still here as well.

Here is the link : http://www.complex.c...with-one-player

"However, there is one player Howard reportedly wants to pair himself with and it's none of the aforementioned names. According to Alex Kennedy of HOOPSWORLD, Dwight is interested in playing with...Jose Calderon."

It is a mutual thing, both want to play with one another.

Look guys,is not like were trying to build a dynasty this years, why do you nick pick every player that is mention. The Lakers are very limited to what we can do this year..You guys know nothing about the basketball business side of things.

This must be the 20 something league here, or better yet,the 20 minus league...are you smarter than a 5th grader..

This [expletive] doesn't even make sense.  You're not going to talk to members here like that, anyway, but if you're aiming to go out with a bang, at least say something that we can understand.

ROFL^

Ironic, he said "are you smarter than 5th grader" after one of the most unarticulated sentences I've ever seen.

Calderon would be awesome for the vets minimum. Mini-midlevel, not so much.

Yep if Dwight re-signs (fingers crossed) and Calderon comes for the vets minimum fine I can take that.

I've watched him light up John Wall and Bradley Beal and get lit up too 99% of the time he guards someone.

Worse than Fisher and worse than Nash but he's a good off ball shooter and is CLOSE to 50/40/90 and he can get to the basket and is low turnover.

I know his strengths its that freaking defense that hurts  me >_<

But I'd rather see Dwight as a Laker with Calderon.. than Gasol as our starting center for next season.
