Floor spacers compliment Dwight's game.

In fact a lot of players that would fit "d'antoni" would fit Dwight as well.

The problem is, we're focusing on perimeter players and guys that have more than one dimension of their game.

So when a shooter is called up, because some people feel we have enough shooters then it's considered a D'antoni move over a Dwight move.

In all honesty floor spacers help them both but the fact of the matter is there are better ones than Morrow that could offer a little more.

well yeah I would love to get a lot of people over Morrow that can do more than just shoot of course. I mean, just wouldnt mind him on the team if we can get him because he can compliments Howard game.

and I use Nash as the leading scorer on my Lakers teams because he is always open off of teams overplaying Kobe. =p   At the end of most games I play Nash has about 21-28 points and Kobe has around 19

Anthony Morrow and Dwight Howard are best friends oh yeah that ATL connection?   People in NC go to and from ATL all the time or at least did back then.

Kenyon martin in NO way has a game like Earl Clark

Earl is an energetic combo forward with the "tangibles" for defense and found a way to be effective in the offense, IN A CONTRACT year.

kenyon martin is a defensive PF, with the ability to dunk off certain play sequences better than anyone on our team currently, and his intangibles defensively are outstanding.

You have Mike Brown as your coach

You don't care about the defense and you care only about offense

You have Mike D'antoni as your coach

You don't care about offense and you care only about defense

You have Phil Jackson as a coach

You sit and twittle your thumbs like good children.

With Mike Brown, both were pretty bad.
With MDA, both were pretty bad till all-star break.
With PJ, both were pretty good.

I'm assuming this post was to me, and I'm really not sure what you're saying.  Where did I compare the two?

We lost a frontcourt player when we lost Clark.  If we had found a way to kept him (which would have been easy), we wouldn't need K-Mart.  Nobody said they are similar players.

Of course he has.  He's a 28 year old shooter, one that doesn't play defense, that is coming off the worst season of his career last year.

Morrow is one of the best 3pt shooters in the league and have been for a long time and the fact that he has a relationship with Dwight helps as well. Sign him up for the vets minimum.

His 3PT percentage has dropped every year he has played, now down to 37% and just one attempt per game. He was dreadful last season, even when he was healthy (before the hip injury).

What else will he do, besides shoot 37% from the floor? Will he rebound, pass the ball, defend, get to the charity stripe? Nope...bad at everything but camp/shoot, which he continues to get worse at.

Morrow's worst shooting year is still better than most of the guys we have at this point and while he did struggle this season his friendship with Howard alone should be enough to sign him for the vets minimum. On a per-minute basis he's just as good as Meeks and in a system where he'll be a catch-and-shoot guy i think he could be succesfull.
