I know the numbers would have to be worked out and the cba rules to comply with and perhaps a third team to make it work but here's what I was hoping for, if doable...

Trade Dwight to the Clips for Griffin and Bledsoe...

Trade Griffin to Portland for Aldridge...

Trade Gasol for Love...

Sign Monta Ellis, Tyreke Evans and Paul Millsap...

If this could have been done, then we would've gotten younger overnight with a good bench...I'm at a loss with all these players already signing new deals and there isn't any serious news on the Laker front...I know we're waiting for Dwight's decision but we still need to get some solid role/bench players...

Well, Bledsoe isn't on the Clippers anymore.

We should have never let Sessions go.

The Dwight deal was said to have been offered to the Lakers...The Gasol trade to Minny was also talked about...

To sign the free agents that I listed is doable...So not sure whats Impossible...Maybe the trade of Griffin for Aldridge but the others can be done, I think...

Impossible is nothing...LOL...

You'd have a better shot at saying Anthony Tolliver or Aminu.

I'd try to get Aminu if Dwight stays. Brandan Wright if he goes.

That Dwight "deal" was merely speculation (and a horrible idea), Gasol to Minny was just another rumor last season, Aldridge for Griffin would have made no sense for Portland since they're around the same caliber of PF (Aldridge is actually better), and those free agent deals are impossible because we have no cap space at all. Impossible.

Speculation perhaps but I'm sure it could've been done if both sides wanted to...Plus if you're able to get Aldridge, and I agree he's much better, then you've just improved your lineup...I'm sure Portland would want more than Griffin but wouldn't you do it if you could...

I agree about the cap space but we're already above and beyond it even now...

I guess we're going to eat next season like we did this past and hope for another big signing in 2014-2015...I'd rather do what I can now to improve the team instead of hoping for that next star to sign with us...But I understand the money side of it too...Thus my title being wishlist of players/scenarios...

A Power Forward that shot 35% from the field last year?

Still don't understand why we can't get any of these young, quick PG...

The league is centered around quick speedy guards now, and good young ones are at a premium. The Lakers can't simply make one appear out of thin air because we can't afford one, nor are they easily poached from other teams. Furthermore, how can you sign Ellis, Millsap, and Evans with our cap situation? You couldn't even sign one. Even if Dwight and Pau were replaced by Bledsoe (not much), Aldridge (11 mil), and Love (max), you would still be over the cap. Then again, if it's your wishlist, that's understandable. I don't think this is plausible even in a video game though.

Used to be one of the best shot blockers in the nba a few years ago and is still a kid. I think if we were to keep Howard, and signed him, he'd flourish. Even if D12 doesn't come back, he can be an excellent addition.

I understand there is a salary cap we need to keep in mind for the players I had listed to sign but we've been over it for the past several years, what's another one knowing you have the salaries coming off the next...Is it hopeful thinking that we can sign one of the marquee players after next season...So we shouldn't sign any of those that can help us immediately for the hope of signing one or two of the stars after next season? Well we know how that turned out don't we with Dwight gone now...And gone for no compensation at that...
