I feel like it is better if we have a trade veto on as in Commissioner review it would really take his only influence to decide if the trade goes through or not. But with the veto on it will make other teams voice have an opinion on the trade whether to veto that trade or let the trade go through and speeds the process of trades getting rejected or going through. So in favor of this rule change vote here. Even if your in disagreement in this vote here I wanna tally the votes up and gives to to our Commissioner.

Do you really need to make all these threads about the same league? Why don't you use the sticky thread in the forum?

I just need to make this one a separate one so the league can vote in favor of a rule change or keep it as it is

I don't think this rule can be changed after the draft anyway.

Personally i dont think this is a good idea... i mean i think that if u allow everyone to vote on the trade, then it will just have a ton of people trying to block every trade that goes down, because no one wants anyone else to get better. So everyone will just veto everything... and thus it will be a boring league

I changed it to league vote for 2 reasons

1. I can't always be bothered to approve trades

2. you all are pretty smart people. . I trust your ability to discern between a good trade and a trade that ruins the competitiveness of the league.

however, if a trade that should go through doesn't because of jealous people as Guo balls theorized, then I will switch it back to Commish approval and the trade will go through

keep that in mind, and enjoy your new powers haha

how bout we just PM jonny who veto'd, why we veto'd, we do this ONLY IF there is a problem and if they dont respond then he can just put the trade back on, in that way the commish isnt bothered unless necessary (if its cool with jonny)

the reason that is flawed is that it takes up too much time with this way all you got to do is click if you to veto the trade and if you don't then just don't click the button

I don't like the idea of league votes -- I've seen it fails a few times in money leagues that I've been in.

i was actually saying the veto button was okay, but IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, then it goes to jonny ..... i have no problem with clicking a button, im not playing for money here, but just like kam said, ive seen "vetoing" go bad when youre playing with strangers and even sometimes when ive played with friends, when a person sees a team get a player that they "originally" wanted, sometimes they have a itchy trigger finger to try and C-block a trade ... just my opinion tho

Well, what if there's a fair trade and the majority of the people veto it because they're scared of how the trade will make the teams better?

In all the forum based Yahoo Fantasy Basketball league's I've been in, they've discussed all trades in a thread to see if it was fair or not, then the when it's decided the comish accepts it if the trade is fair.
