Best of luck GA.

This should be a very good series. I know many are picking the Dodgers to win, but I'm not as a confident (and that was before Kemp/Ethier went down).

If you can get to our starters, we'll be in trouble because of your bullpen. If we can get to your starters, you guys will be in trouble because of our starters ability to go 7/8 innings before getting the ball to Wilson and or Jansen.

I've hated the Braves for years so I hope we beat the [expletive] out of you guys lol, but best of luck. I think we are the two teams to beat in the NL.

Best of luck to the LAD and you to WC. If they win ATL I'll be pulling for them.I dont have any LAD resentment at all. Not yet anyways...lol.

Its all about if our hitters show up or not.

Weve been a great offense all year and when you look at the final stats it represents a whole lotta run production.

But as a fan whos watched more than half of the games this season...were inconsistent. We will score 12 runs one game, then get shut out the next. And when we score runs its usually all in one inning. Score 6 runs and then the bats die.

But it helps that Uggla's was left off the roster. Isnt that funny, our highest paid player is out....lol.
BJ's average is still low but hes been hitting better since last August. Probably about .250ish since then.

So if our bats dont show up were done. If they do then were dangerous.

That being said, the New Issue of SI

Haha and don't get me wrong, it's nothing against you.  I just grew up a Dodgers fan and we had family friends who were Braves fans and all they did was talk trash to me about the Dodgers growing up.

GA, no offense, but it almost seems that you're the only Atlanta Braves fan on this forum, at least according to the members who have posted in this thread and amount of posts they've made, lol.

yo.

we got owned but we knew going in that medlen vs cy young wasnt good odds. We had some chances. I', actually surprised we hit him as good as we did. Missed a game tying HR by 2 feet. Ya never know. I have liked Minor and Teherans pitching batter all season. What sucks is, if it goes 5 games....we gotta see Kershaw again...lol

I'm not getting ahead of myself. It's just one game.

I've been through enough in the game of baseball as a player and a coach to know how quickly this series can change.

Greinke has had struggles in the playoffs, so this is a critical start. Braves offense worries me, lots of bats that change the game in one swing.

Doesn't change what Medlen said before Game 1, which is why I'm laughing at him...

1st playoff win since 2005. Felt good. Next our best and most skilled pitcher Julio Teheran.

When Mattingly walked Reed to pitch to my fav play Jay-Hey I almost died.

ATL fans are upset. The umps never call strikes on LAD after check swings. But if ATL checks a swing its a strike. Every time. Happened 2x in game 1 and 4x in game 2.

Everyone seems to be shocked that Mattingly did that, but I was not. He's a terrible in game manager and that's just a common thing for him to do. Johnson was a pinch hitter and he still decided to go to Hayward because of the lefty vs lefty BS.

That lefty vs eighty crap never works. Whenever our manager Freddie G does that crap and brings in Ayala I cringe. Its funny how all team fan bases seem to have the same anxieties

It does work in many situations, but for hitters that are struggling ad those that have extremely poor numbers versus lefties.

You don't do it when it's a player like Heyward.  It's just stupid.

...especially when the player you're walking to get to Heyward is a 90 lb weak sauce hitter like Reed Johnson.
