I cant believe I never made a ATL Braves thread before. Talked about them plenty but never made them a official thread.
So let it be written. So let it be done.

Not a Braves fan, but when I lived in Jacksonville, Florida during my high school years a lot of my friends were and I went to a few games in ATL. Turner Field is awesome, was a great atmosphere and I always had an awesome time.

If you didnt see this you missed the catch of the year. He started in right Center field and covered about 50-60 feet, in bad rain, flat out horizontal dive to catch a low sinking line drive that saved the game. Ill post a vid, but youtube keeps taking it down because of MLB copyrights.
JeyHey is a Gold Glove winner and last night came up clutch

AWWWW, its highlighted on MLB.com

And others are calling it the catch of the year to. I cant believe it.

That's a GREAT catch. Especially to do that in the rain.

I wouldn't call it the catch of the year though. That still goes to Phillies outfielder Ben Revere IMO. But that's still an incredible grab by Heyward.

Link that for me WC I dont think I saw that one yet. Or I just forgot it.

What I like most about Jeyheys is the distance he covered.

But I will judge without bias after I see.

yea I saw that. That was pretty dope to and he doubled him up.

I like Reveres actual catch better but I still like jeyheys the most because of the ground he covered and the rain and the slip n slide....lol

Its a toss up.

Thanks for posting it up

The official MLB stat says JayHey went 98.6 feet in 3.2 seconds at a estimated 19.8 MPH. That's freaking insane.

Oh man, I just saw the video of Tim Hudson getting injured.  That's horrible.  Hope it's nothing serious but it did not look good.

Fracture. Hes going to have surgery as soon as the swelling decreases. Hes out for the year. It really sucks. The win last night put Huddy at 8-7 for the season. So atleast he extended his winning season streak to 15 years.

There are similarities to KBs injury here because it should have been prevented by the coach pulling him to start the 8th. It was a shut out not a no hitter.

Were up 6-0, Huddy gives up 2 hits and is up to 105 pitches.....And Varvaro in the bullpen has been warming up.

I was screaming..."take him out, let the old guy rest hes done his job"....next play...crack.

Hope Hudson has a speedy recovery.  Just an unfortunate accident.  I really hope to see him back next season pitching.

Sometimes people tend to go to the extremes. Let's hope & pray that's not ultimately the case.

Yea. I dont know how the Braves got Downs for basically nothing. He pitched 3 solid relief innings in his debut for us. We needed a solid lefty in the bull pen bad.

6 game winning streak. Going for lucky 7 tonight!

11! Can you say "BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL"
I believe the Braves will win again tonight because Teheran is pitching. Then Wednesday with Medlen on the bump....it depends on which Medlen shows up...lol. See what happens.

As of right now were have a 1/2 game lead on the Red Sox for best record in MLB. But I dont expect the Braves to hold that because once a team gets up 15 games with less than 50 to play the coach starts resting players more than normal.
And the Redsox and Rays are fighting for their division so they both need to go balls out.
