That came out of nowhere. Not a bad pickup by Boston but I don't think Stevens is the right fit for them. Doc seemed like the perfect fit for them. Kinda sucks Stevens is going to Boston because I actually liked him as Butler's head coach. Not anymore! Lol

Doc seemed like the perfect fit for them.

Not for a rebuilding team.

I keep hearing this is a good hire, but TBH don't know much about the fellow.

Hopefully this leads to them getting rid of Rondo

Rondo better show some respect to this guy. Inexperienced, but a class act.

^ Wouldn't be surprised if Rondo walks all over him to be honest.

Bill Simmons on the hiring:

Bill Simmons @BillSimmons

Brad Stevens! HERE COME THE CELTS! (In 3-4 years after they blow it up and rebuild from scratch, but still.)

Bill Simmons @BillSimmons

Last time the Celts hired a successful college coach, he kicked things off by stealing Red Auerbach's presidency. This can't go worse.
