Saying goodbye to monte and getting Mayo. Mayo and BJ really dont fit together either. IDK what the bucks are trying to do with that team.

I think Jennings will be gone this season as well. Sgn and trade later on in the season.

Mayo got to get his $$$ I guess.

Exactly.  Mayo is one of those guys that he cant command top $, so he either has to accept third tier $ on a good team of second tier $ on a bad team.  Maybe I would make the same choice in his spot, who knows.  But its pretty clear that he would rather make the money than play on a competitive team.

Some of it is about the money, but Mayo also believes he is a better player than most teams want to give him credit for, and maybe he can be. He was doing fine in Dallas, before Dirk re-entered the picture...but then again, Dallas wasn't that great.

He probably can imagine a scenario where he has legitimate teammates that don't demand the ball as much. Sadly, Mayo has yet to prove that he's a franchise player, even when Dirk was injured. A very good second option? That may be his ceiling.

whenever Mayo matches up with Kobe, mayo raises his game signifigantly...

dude is super talented... top 10 SG... but has never put it all together

Meh.

The insignificant signing with the unimportant.
