I have a feeling that the clippers could have gotten so much more for Bledsoe.

I think people put too high of a value on Bledsoe. He's solid but I think if compared to other starting point guards he's just average.

Very solid trade for all teams, IMO.

Nice move by the Suns and they're clearly the winners in this trade. They got a potential starting PG for the present and the future without having to give up a lot. The Clippers got some value for a player they were going to be losing in FA anyway.

Umm why not? Hes not an elite one on one defender like Battier but hes above average in defending players in isolations, hes tough, he always competes, plays very hard and a good 3 point shooter

Here's Dudley's numbers last year: 27 mins, 11 points 3.1 rebs, 2. 6 assists 47% FG, 39% 3 point FG, 1 steal a game

Battier's numbers at samge age as Dudley in Houston: 36 mins, 10 points, 4.1 rebs, 2.1 assists, 44.6% FG, 42% 3s, 1 steal a game

Sorry. Numbers don't tell half the story

battier is like fisher or any of the other extraordinary role players in history.

We shall see if Dudley has that in him

And wait until next off season when Kobe refuses to take a massive pay cut.  This could end in a very ugly fashion ....

you're certain of this?

you're certain that kobe is not going to take a 15 or more million dollar pay cut?

If they'd gotten DeRozen and Mayo they'd have been in the finals next year.

Luckily after signing Chris paul they got Reddick and Dudley instead

But at least Dudley is back in Cali and I'll have a chance to see him after hopefully meeting his dad :)

I think DeRozan & Mayo are no question more dynamic players, but Reddick & Dudley may specialize more in being better pure shooters. I agree though, that the dynamicness & overall better games from DeMar & OJ including specifically their far superior shot-creativity skills would've been so much better.

if they are trying to be the Los Angeles Suns, they got the wrong coach and they should send us Rivers for D'antoni.

No not certain of it at all. I don't claim to have intimate knowledge of Kobe's brain waves.  Kobe is a bigger than life player with, not surprisingly, a bigger than life ego to match.  The great ones rarely go out gracefully, I expect Kobe to demand a big paycheck and scoff at what the Lakers offer him, but we'll see, maybe he will see the big picture better than I anticipate.

The Clippers will regret that Redick contract immediately.

Without a solid inside presence on offense (no, no Blake Griffin is a dunker, not a post-up constant inside threat and neither is Jordan) surrounding a non-post oriented team with shooters won't do anything.

They could've done better for Bledsoe.

The reason why they traded bledsoe because bledsoe wants to be a starter instead of backup guard but the problem is that was a quick move.

I think putting shooters around Paul was the plan there. Paul will be able to create and thus in turn give better looks to reddick. Also the Clips had no sort of 2 play last year except when Crawford came off the bench and he isnt the best match to have out there with Paul since he creates his own shots. I think Redick was a good sign for them put a shooter around Paul and he is set up to prosper.  Reddick Avged more than caron in basically every category also. JJ is much more than just a spot up shooter anymore when he was running the ball earlier in the season in ORL he was putting up some pretty solid numbers.

Suns got the best player in the deal, but Clippers are getting the most kudos.

Two pacific division rivals improve. Better hope Aldridge doesn't land in Sacramento.

Hard to see the plan where the Bucks are concerned. They rented him for a few weeks, then flipped him for 2 second rounders?  Then they sign Mayo?  What is the plan up there?

Are the Suns going to trade Dragic then? If so, where? Mavs?
