Chase Budinger has reached agreement on a three-year, $16 million deal to return to Minnesota, league source tells Y! Sports

Timberwolves reach agreement to keep F Chase Budinger on a three-year deal for $16M w/player option for third, per source.

The opportunity 2 start in Minnesota--assuming Andrei Kirilenko does not get re-signed somehow--tipped the scales for the Wolves 4 Budinger.

Only twenty-five years old and can shoot the ball. Not a surprise that he got the deal he received. I'm starting to get worried about Earl Clark and Cleveland Cavs offering him a multi-year contract for about 2-3 years and more money we can offer we may lose him. Wolves have themselves a nice young squad rubio/ridnour , shved/shabazz , budinger/derrick, klove/bojan  pekovic/ dieng.
