San Antonio is finalizing a five year, $45 million contract extension for center Tiago Splitter, league sources tell Y! Sports.

 

With threat of a Portland offer sheet lingering, Spurs, Splitter working out details of an agreement today, sources tell Y!

45million for a guy that scrubbed it up in the finals. But I'm not gonna question what the spurs are doing.

There won't be a fifth year on the Splitter deal. The terms will be four years, $36 million-plus, sources tell Y! Sports

Jeeze. They must have been afraid of another team offering him that like what the Rockets did when they stole Asik from the Bulls. 

 

Unfortunate for the Spurs. That's a lot of money for him....

Well this looks like Greg Ostertag's contract - back in the day.

 

Spurs also got Ginobli on board for 2 more years.

 

So Tim Duncan will not win another ring.
