Bring back Bynum too, and trade Steve Nash back to Phoenix for Shannon Brown. Let's give those 2010 Lakers another shot.

I want 2012-2013 Bynum, please.

This is what I was talking about in regards to Dwight yesterday. The Lakers cant make any moves at all until Dwight decides and now we lost Earl Clark. asdpofiuaspdfuasdof

Dwight stalling shouldn't have stopped us from getting Clark. 4.5 a year for him isn't that much

Depends on what the maximum we could have offered him with his Bird rights would have been.

I'm sad to see Earl go. But I wish him the best of luck. Now the Lakers might need to sign either a back up PF or SF to replace Earl. Pick a couple here.

Andre Iguodala (ETO)
Josh Smith
Elton Brand
Andrei Kirilenko (P)
Lamar Odom
Kenyon Martin
Paul Millsap
Corey Maggette
Corey Brewer
Jermaine O'Neal
J.J. Hickson
Nick Young
Matt Barnes
Ronnie Brewer
Dorell Wright
Amir Johnson
Marreese Speights
Carlos Delfino
Bryon Mullens

Good luck to Earl. I never expected him to sign if money was thrown at him.

Good luck to him. Now I only wonder what the hell Cleveland is trying to accomplish at all after drafting Bennett #1 overall. That SF/PF rotation will be funky.

the bigger underlying factor here is that this means that Metta is likely staying now.  Unless the Lakers bring in 2 other wings.

I don't care that the lakers fo is waiting on Dwight. Clark would have been a separate transaction anyway. Dwight shouldn't be continent on paying four million dollars for Clark. Absolutely abysmal. Secondarily, if mwpos is still here next year at 8 million dollars with MDA I have serious questions about Jim Buss and whatever the hell he is doing.

I have a question. Do you know the maximum amount we could have offered Earl with his bird rights?  And second of all, do you know that would be less than what Cleveland is giving him?

The lakers retained his bird rights. Thy could have paid him similar money. He signed a contract with a team option for a second year. The lakers could have offerred similar numbers while retaining flexibility for next year.
