Dwight needs to indicate his intentions soon, so we can plan accordingly. The delay will cost us valuable opportunities, whether he stays or goes.

If Cleveland wants him, let them have him...

Clark played great for a stretch, but, overall for the year, he was nothing special...

Just a total lack of any talent or Youth on the lakers makes him look better

I remember Earl saying he doesn't mind his salary as long as he's a Laker.. I think that all depends on DH resigning

I'm gonna disagree. Clark was one of our bright spots this past season. He showed what he can do when given a chance.

He can be our Kawhi Leonard.

Hopefully he'll remain a Laker .. Clark is valuable to the team, especially he came strong to some extent from the bench mid season.. So a full training camp and knowing he'll have a role could elevate his game ..

Why is he even bothering to meet with them? What a liar. He basically said and gave off the impression that he wanted to stay with the Lakers no matter what even for cheaper, which would lead one to believe he wouldn't even mess with or consider another team. BS Earl, you broke my heart.

Looks like Earl might wanna' pull an Ariza on us after all. He should've never spoken. His actions have already led him further than his words said otherwise.

Pretty sure he's gone. Although loyalty is nice, the business side of basketball usually prevails. After years of being labeled as a bust and potentially being out of the NBA, a new contract that isn't near a minimum amount is attractive both for financial safety and a bigger role.

far as we know Earl is meeting with other teams.

He hasn't priced himself out.  Lakers were the first team that talked to him though.     He wants to be a Laker so unless Cleveland is planning on offering him something outlandish I can't see them changing his mind.

Again I think Dwight re-signing or not has a LOT to do with what happens.

If Dwight doesn't re-sign all the other dominoes collapse.

oh snap!  Cavs title contender!!

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Great, if Clark/Dwight leave we will have the oldest team in the NBA, and they will all be playing 35+mins.

Earl Clark makes it clear to Mitch Kupchak he wants to remain a Laker

Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak told Clark during their exit interview this week that he'll have plenty of teams lining up to sign him in the offseason, but the 25-year-old has expressed a desire to remain with the Lakers, even if it means coming back at a discount.

We'll see Earl, we'll see. You're already sending signals to the contrary.

By meeting with teams that have interest?  Sounds like typical Free Agent situations to me.

I think Dwight re-signing or not re-signing would quicken a LOT of the decisions that free agents wondering "yes or no" on the Lakers.

You could make the case that if he truly wanted to remain a Laker (TO THE FULLEST) he wouldn't even bother wasting time with other teams, ESPECIALLY when he himself said he would even take less just to stay with us. So why even waste the time to go messing around with other teams and potentially give in to temptation? It means he's obviously not 100% certain as he led us to believe by his initial statements.
