I miss that offense, or at least what it could have been simplified down to compared to what we wound up running

yep and he's much better than Sacre and coming off the bench would help us a lot more.  I watched Barnes here too and I would trust Clark over him as far as the future goes.

Don't know how one could argue that Clark, Hill, Wright isn't better than Barnes, Hill, Sacre.

We already have Blake and Meeks at that point as well.

Blake
Meeks
Clark
Hill
Wright

Is solid.  And Wright is more of an upgrade that we could use at the backup center spot over Sacre than Barnes would be over clark and in reality Barnes wouldn't even be an upgrade over Clark.

No one said that its aint better. But you insist that its either Wright or Sacre.. Me its more of filling a spot for nothing.

Wright is not a player we should be looking for..

Wright is a player that can change ends quickly, plays rim defense well and doesn't need a play called for him to be productive.  He's slight of build, not as strong as you'd expect a post player to be but he's a very good athlete.  Long arms and good lateral movement.  Can easily become a specialized weak-side help defender in the right system.  Would look pretty good next to Dwight and vice versa.

Not a plethora of offensive moves nor is he going to be a go-to guy in the post on the offensive end.  What he can do is add athleticism and defense to our frontcourt, something I think every team can use.

Brandan Wright: He came into the league with big expectations out of UNC and has been labeled a disappointment because of it. Yet, Wright's numbers last season (8.5 points on 59.7 percent shooting and 4.1 rebounds in just 18 minutes per game) were solid. Perhaps the back-up big could be a reclamation project for Kupchak, a fellow Tar Heel.

He would be a great pick up, regardless. He can give a good presence for the 2nd unit.
