Many guys here don't like Nick Young at all and completely despise his game which is understandable for numerous reasons but surprisingly I believe his flaws are exactly what we need off the bench.

Yeah the guy is trigger happy and loves chucking up random shots but that what we need off the bench, a guy that will score no matter what.  I hated watching the bench last year just tossing the ball around being scared to shoot and at the end of the possession either getting a terrible off balance or contested shot or even a turnover...  Nick Young would be a nice 2 or 3 off the bench.

No Tyreke!! Why not? We need someone who can create their own shot. While we're at it can someone bring me a small forward please!!

Oh god no. I saw him dribble up on a fastbreak, run to the corner, then chuck up a three. With 40 seconds left in the quarter.

Black hole without a brain, no thanks.

D'Antoni would have been a proud coach. Probably was the exact play that sparked his interest in him.

I would rather go get the ex-Rocket guys. Francisco Garcia and Carlos Delfino. For the 2 and 3 spots.

You think D'Antoni tells Mitchwhat guys to go after.

I understand the "let's take every chance to take an insult at D'Antoni", but really the energy around that is a part of this mess as well.

See what lakers fans don't get is we affectthe team.

everytime we win, we get  more and more ignorant spoiled fans, until they bring the energy around the team down.

Then we fall, in order to allow those fans a chance to move on.

IPeople who want Wiggins will end up like teams who get the number one draft pick.

the Cavs-the Magic and others.

Matter fact, I'll go beyond that.

Mitch is so involved with the sport, it's an insult for anyone of you to think you can come CLOSE to his prowess.

you know little of the intricacies of the LEAGUE.

And you really believe in the MARKETING SCHEME that is 'Laker Lore"

LOL

I'd welcome Nick. Any offensive fire power would work. Nick is maturing just like the rest. Slowly just like JR Smith,

We should NEVER question ANY move, thought or sneeze that comes from Mitch.  His #$%^ don't stink around here.

B-IQ, I am on to you ... a very sophisticated troll.

I'd rather have a chucker than a bunch scared old men who can't create their own shot. Isn't Kobe a chucker?? A very good one but definitely has taken some suspect shots for years

Do you think Young would just come here and all of a sudden change his chucker mentality? Dont think so. He would be coming off the bench as well and would be asked to score when Kobe isnt on the floor, in his eyes he would then become Kobe, cant even imagine the garbage he would throw up. Last off season I was interested in him coming to LA, after watching him here in Philly all i can say is, hell no.

Well in all honesty, like I said I think his chucking would make Kobe body slam him.

But i don't mind Kobe mentoring him. And in all honesty, he's probably the best wing we could get that is actually musing signing here for that little. So....

We need more young guys like him signing with the lakers for cheap. It allows are perception around the league to be one of a organization that isn't in the past but still a fun place to play

Right now people perceive the team is a boring and stressful atmosphere. Not a fun one. If we want to attract the new generation we have to make this franchise look like a party. Jerry and Jim buss knew this. It's why they hired d'antoni

It was the right idea but wrong time and wrong coach. The transition should have been made after Kobe retired. Stay slow and boring with Dwight and phil until Kobe retires then move to a faster pace

Nick Young at around 8 mins(talking about his Kobe's and how much they mean to him): I dropped 30 on Kobe that day, Kobe told me to come to the Lakers.  So Kobe talk to my agent or something cause I don't know about all this.  But yeah and then Dwight tried to get involved, and I dunked on him and I looked at him and went "why'd you jump?  Don't you see what shoes I got on?(Kobe's) I guess some people never learn(from being dunked on by Kobe before) "

Funny

Him and Beasley both seem to want to be Lakers but it always seems to evade them.  But it seems this time around NY actually has a chance to be one if he takes less money. So we'll see.
