@ArashMarkazi

Lakers' #PutTheBandBackTogether begins with Jordan Farmar. I'm guessing Lamar Odom and maybe Sasha Vujacic will be next.

Oh god, I just saw the Nick Young thing. Any player that can go off for 30 is intriguing, but there's a reason he's been bouncing around the league. At the vet min, he would be good pickup. A little hometown discount there (too bad USC isn't my cup of tea). Offense off the bench has been an issue since Lamar left, and Jamison was just decent at it. I really he hope he changes his ways from an offensive black hole into something resembling a complete player.

Jordan Farmar has agreed to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, the veteran guard told ESPNLosAngeles.com Tuesday night.

Farmar, 26, played his first four professional seasons with the Lakers after being drafted in the first round out of UCLA in 2006. He then spent parts of two seasons with the New Jersey Nets before playing last season with Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball League.

The sides agreed to a one-year, veteran minimum deal. L.A. must first negotiate a buyout with Farmar's club in Turkey, in the $500,000 range. The buyout does not count against the salary cap.

Nick can play the 2 or 3. If you can get him. Get him!

I do like this plan B by the Lakers though.

They know next season will not end in a championship so why not put back together a team that had good chemistry and will at least keep the fans interested.

The reason I said "oh crap" is cause this guy reported Farmar would be returning 12 hours ago...

Trey @TreyDoinWork24 12h

#Lakers set to sign Chris Kaman, Lamar Odom, Jordan Farmar and Nick Young.

I thought it was a joke.....

Then tonight Farmar is signed...

So... one question... if this guy is right..

HOW THE HECK DID WE CONVINCE NICK YOUNG TO GET HERE FOR THE VETS MINIMUM!?!?!

I don't have a problem with it. We'll have fun watching some of our old guys for a year and then look forward to free agency.

Hometown discount. USC kid maybe? Good friend with Farmar as well. Knew each other since high school (Taft) & then college (USC & UCLA, Farmar).

Why isn't Sasha mentioned there though?

I like it.

LO, Jordie

I remember several ex female posters here having crushes on several of these players:

magicmoment & her sister funsizedasian: Sasha

Riot (Imadogg's girl, not sure if still): Farmar

Vee (arguably the hottest chick to many here), even had the name LodiesChick for a while: LO

Cheryl or Cherizzles: Shannon (although he's not mentioned here)

Maybe these signings could potentially bring them back as well.

If the Lakers can get Vujacic and Odom, then it would be a nice off-season after this horrific nightmare. Yes, I know it wouldn't lead to a championship ring, but at least there will be some serious chemistry because most of them have played together. Also, at least, there would not be a diva or distraction acting around the team.
