Idea being bounced by Laker bloggers on Twitter...if we get Farmar, Blake might be amnestied, then we wouldn't have to search for SF

That doesn't really make sense to me.

Blake is more useful than Ron and makes half the amount. How much would we save getting rid of that $4 million?

Ron should be amnestied regardless of who we sign.

I think Lakers put that rumor out there that MWP might get amnestied to test the market and saw he got a lot of interest. There is a huge market value there considering he can play multiple positions for playoff teams.

The same place the rest of us are right now... twitter

You put in Farmar's name about 30 different people come up saying he'll be re-signing and the UCLA blogger also saying Farmar said himself he's back with the Lakers.

Now Sasha's name is up and has been apparently X_X  And Nick Youngs and it's just a black hole of SOURCES SOURCES SOURCES!!!

I just wanna go home :sorry:

Interesting

One hurdle: The buyout on J. Farmar's Turkey contract is $500k, according to a league source. It would not count against the cap, however

There it is

RT @mcten: LAL has reached an agreement to bring back Jordan Farmar on a one-year, vet min contract. Must negotiate buyout w/ his Turkey team first

The only ones I believe are the Farmar ones.  Nick Young's name has been floating around but I doubt he takes vets min.  Sasha I can see.

This is difference between Dwight staying or leaving. If Dwight stays, MWP amnesty saves them about $30M. Now, it would save about $14.355M.

I would not mind this team AT ALL with Phil coaching. No complaints here.

Then again, I wouldn't care if it was Phil, Kobe and 14 scrubs. It's not like we've seen that before.........

For his Turkish team, Farmar had a 13.8/3.6/3.9 line on .443/.397/.863 shooting in 29.9 minutes per game. #notbad

They're really serious about bringing back the dream team for another run. I'm excited for the nostalgia factor alone.
