If nick young was the key to a championship every team would be lining up to sign him

What if Steve Blake is being involved in a trade... (you heard it from here first).

That 4 million dollar contract and solid player could turn into a decent SG/SF.

What about Josh Powell? He won back to back with us. We need him back as well. He averaged 5.1 PPG overseas last year. He'd probably be good for at least 1 PPG in the NBA.

He's playing in Greece for Olympiacos.

I really want Nick Young in our rotation.  A bench of Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujacic, Nick Young, Kurt Rambis, and Jordan Hill would be perfect for MDA (all offense, 0 defense) haha

look look.. Remember the times when we were debating if Farmar was a good triangle player, then we came to the conclusion that he'd best fit under D'Antoni's system? lol

This is what came to mind when I saw he was going to be signed either that or Bagel is going to be amnestied instead of MWP

Blake has SOME value.  You can get something in return for him.

Amnesty on Metta makes the most sense financially.

One year? Sure. If we're going to suck, might as well suck with players that helped us to a title. I'm looking forward to the Mbenga and Morrison signings in the near future.

This team isn't going to suck lol

Honestly, this has been one of the most exciting off-seasons. Probably more so than lasts, to me at least. I spent last off-season cut off from the world, on duty.

This is a terribly constructed team. We're going to be massacred by any team with an above average offense. I mean, our last line of defense right now is either Pau Gasol or Chris Kaman. And we have a trio of Nash/Blake/Farmar where Blake is the best defender and he's mediocre. Oh yeah, D'Antoni is still the coach. Barring some ridiculous trade or amazing steal in free agency, this team is going to be pretty bad.
