Maybe after this event, Phil talked to Mark about getting a job with the Lakers organization.

Im connecting it all together.

1) Mark Madsen recalls his bad free throw shooting.

2) Phil Jackson helped Madsen with his confidence and lead to better free throw shooting.

3) The Lakers have a Center named Dwight Howard who needs help with free throws

4) So basically Phil hired Mark to help Howard out with his free throws hahahahahaha

I believe that the hiring of Madsen and the idea of hiring Rambis is a great thing. It had been widely known that when the Lakers parted with Phil, they wanted nothing to do with the Phil, the Triangle, or any of Phil's guys (which is why they pushed out Shaw and other guys). It appears now that they are slowly coming back.

That's not true. Phil left. He wanted to leave. Brian Shaw was not a candidate who the Top 3 wanted. Kobe went to bat but that's his guy , doesn't mean they wanted to get Phil out of the building.

They reported it as if Jim wanted Jerry's guys out if the building.

Anyway, they portrayed things differently than it played out.
