Ummm...Kobe before usually handled the ball as scorer/facilitator especially the 11-12 season.  He had a great assist game streak but was very forced, but they were better when he did it.  So no Kobe didnt sacrifice much.  In the end the team didnt find chemistry and this was not only due to injuries.  Stop trying to absolve Kobe for his part in it.  You can't fake chemistry and Kobe and D12 never had any and it was not all b/c of D12 being immature either, but we will agree to disagree...carry on

We will agree to disagree. Part of the reason kobe was excited for having Nash join the team was because he just wanted to focus on being the 2 guard, which he's never gotten to do his entire career, except maybe when he was coming off the bench as a rookie?. He doesn't have the same handles to be the constant facilatator anymore, which causes some bad turnovers. I'd say he sacrificed a lot. It's not hard to have chemistry with kobe, he will find you in your spots, even more so if you execute. Kobe was out at the tail in of the season and playoffs, the chemistry didn't even slightly improve. Dwight didn't have chemistry with anyone on the team.

Rambis "It takes 5 guys to stop the ball"    :bounce:

here's his interview with Mike Trudell talking about what he wants to instill defensively.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."
