Only problem I have with the report is the "secretly" part...like they'd have to keep that a secret...Jeanie shares sheets with the dude and that's no secret...I'm pretty sure it's come up in casual conversation (when talking to Phil) with everyone in the Lakers Org not named Jim...

lately I'll run out of +1s but I try to like a post anyway.

Always seems to be yours lately that I get a +1 on before going out of my quota

Wishful thinking. Not with this Ryan Kelly pick

Why does that matter? PJ hates rookies, never plays them. He would ride the bench or go to the D league

Nothing secret about it.

Phil's been dropping hints.

If Dwight asks it, Lakers will do it.

It's that simple.

Phil would be a huge get to say the least no question about it, but as this team is currently constructed, I'm not even 100% certain he can fully save us. Too many other issues we would still need to address.

I know. I saw that. Don't take it personally.

i dont believe yb but i think it would be more about appeasing the diva. so if that was gonna happen it would have to be pretty fast, or maybe not knowing how d12 is like a chick trying to decide on... well anything

hey if dwight can get md fired, he'd be on his way to redemption with the fans lol. that would be his crowning achievement so far as a laker

Timing is important. Announcing Phil today would be great for reporters and the internet. Bringing in Phil between July 1-10 as Dwight is visiting other teams would overshadow all FA news that week.

All Lakers news from the last 2-3 days points to the return of PJ (draft, Dwight, McMillan, Gentry, Madsen, etc.).

All of this drama could've been avoided if the Lakers hired Phil Jackson in the first place.

I agree, didn't he even go so far as to talking about knowing how to beat the Heat too? I don't know if I remember that right but I think we could have done great had D'Antoni not been hired. Like the Mike Brown hire, it didn't feel like the right fit for the team from the beginning (like the Chargers hiring Norv >.>)

Is the article and rumors comes from a Lakers fan? Because this is the dumbest thing I've heard.   Nice cheap tactics to give lakers fan some hope and meaning.
