Clippers did get a call about LaMarcus, too, but as one person put it, "where's the fit?"

Clippers cannot be this dumb if they truly walked away from Lamarcus Aldridge.  Aldridge would be a better fit in a system Doc Rivers coach rather than Blake Griffin.  Could you imagine the damage a CP3 + LA Pick N Roll would do to the league? If I'm the Clippers I'd give up Blake in a heartbeat for Lamarcus Aldridge who IMO is the 2nd best power forward in the league.

LaMarcus Aldridge would fit perfectly with the Clippers and CP3.

But they are content with Blake Griffin it seems like.

Clippers need to think about this and me as a Laker fan putting biased aside if they get Lamarcus Aldridge they would be favorites in the western conference to go to the NBA Finals.  If Clippers hung up the phone on Portland they need to call them back now

But LaMarcus can't dunk like Griffin. - Courtesy of spokesperson for a stupid Clipper fan.

Latest News of anything with Clips and Blazers talk was this morning when Woj reported Blazers were inquiring about Deandre Jordan.  I'd be dumbfounded if that's what Ramona was reporting when Clippers asked where would Lamarcus fit and that's why Clippers walked away

Would Portland actually consider DeAndre for LA? What kind of package could the Clippers send their way along with Jordan for LA? Do Jordan & Bledsoe fit? Don't know the possibilities financially that would fit.

Jordan to Portland wouldn't be in a deal for Aldridge

I dont see why Portland would do this. LA and Lillard seem to have the potential to be a force in the years to come. Saying they want to get rid of their all star pf to get a back up for lillard? This just doesnt make any sense.

Still maybe not Griffin, but a Bledose/Jordan deal wouldn't be too bad. Plus we don't know if maybe Aldridge himself is murmuring for change. I would be more inclined that Portland would pull the trigger if the Clips had better draft picks to include. Although Butler's expiring contract is appealing.

All in all, Griffin is a flashy player but an unproven winner. Aldridge at times I think packs it in, but in the the right environment, I am sure his presence would be felt in every game.

^^^ I think that is the only thing that makes this move kinda make sense. If LA wants out then yea they have to ship him, but if he is sitting find in POR a deal with the clippers for any number of pieces make no sense.

I know, but any other pieces from the clippers dont fill what portland needs especially if their gonna ship out LA. Just doesnt make sense even if they got blake and bledsoe. You down grade in power forward and get a back up pg just to lose the most consistent player your city has seen in the last 4 years, and for what?

if they want to get rid of Griffin for Aldridge throw us in there send Griffin here and send Pau to Portland with Bledsoe

Aldridge to Clippers, Griffin to Lakers, Pau and Bledsoe to Portland.

I know that isn't gonna happen =p

To bad we have nothing to trade for him. If we were to replace pau with him we would be so much better but I dont think there is a trade we can do to get him.

Exactly, I would LOVE to have him here but we have no pieces and I have no idea what we can get for Pau now.

Yea the prospect of cap space for pau is not much for trading. It may be enough for a decent bench player but thats about it.
