In the words of the great Jack Nicholson: No-one cares what you think!

What i'm saying is simple: we can't control what Dwight does. But we can control some of the areas that matter to Dwight, such as the coaching situation. Why is this so [expletive]ing hard to understand?

Just read this on ESPN:

Howard is willing to forgo the extra $30 million the Lakers can pay him to play for a coach and in a system he feels will better utilize his skill set, one source said.

Why the brain-trust duo of @Projekt and @True Laker Fan are so i love with MDAs incompetent ass is [expletive]ing beyond me.

Danish, your logical approach will get you nowhere on this board.  It makes complete sense to make every move possible to try to keep Dwight.  Maybe that's happening behind the scenes now ... maybe.

Honestly though, if I'm Dwight, I go to Houston.  Maybe sign a one or two year deal and then a max deal after that.  Decent coach, good GM, better taxes, much better and younger team to play with.  And they clearly want him.

Maybe hanging a few banners and saying the right things will work here, but it didn't work in Cleveland a few years back.

Why am i the only one who finds it problematic that we might lose out on Dwight because the front office stubbornly sticks to MDA when Phil Jackson is sitting there.

Phil is done coaching. Its over. He has said it a million times. He either wants to be in management or nothing. If we do get rid of MDA it will be someone other than MDA replacing him.

I would sure hope so.
