Deron Williams
Joe Johnson
Paul Pierce
Kevin Garnett
Brook Lopez

This team is the anti-Heat. Thank you God. I don't know what I would do to myself if I have to witness a 3Peat.

I'd be surprised if Rondo isn't moved at some point this season. This team is banking everything on drafting from 2014 and forward. I doubt the FO trusts Rondo leading a young core.

Sadly my friend, nothing is guaranteed. Certainly I can admit that seems like a valid threat, but a lot can go wrong and a lot can still go right for the defending champs, especially when they still have the best player in the league. They're owed that respect whether you like them or not.

Oh, look it's the Lakers of last year. Counting on older players to beat the Heat.  :woot: KG won't even be playing around Playoff time, and you don't even know if Kidd is a good coach.

As far as Miami, depending on what they do, Chicago still poses the biggest threat followed closely by Indy. Difference here is if they can manage KG and Pierce minutes, they are very dangerous come playoff time.

X factor really is Kidd.

You may be right. KG & Pierce especially are no guarantees to hold up health-wise for a full season including the playoffs and Kidd is obviously & arguably the greatest uknown of all. Potentially that team could be scary good enough to overtake the Heat, but if it was all about potential & everybody reached it, we ourselves would've been in a much different place than we were last year. Nothing is guaranteed in this league nor in life sometimes.

I think with players the trio of Lopez, Williams, and Johnson will help reduce the demands of KG and Pierce. I don't see health being a major factor. Plus they got Terry as well.

I think Terry will bounce back & be better. Being on a better team usually motivates you. Celtics weren't bad themselves, but there's just so much more genuine belief and excitement here I'd assume.

Wonder if they'll get rid of Rondo too.

Probably regretting that tattoo.

Lol, obviously. LeBron helped humble him too with that facial. I'm sure Terry is a much more humbled man after these couple experiences. Let's see if he stops talking as much now.

Terry should NEVER stop talking. Thats wat helped him become a champion

He is a humble guy, he just talks [expletive] on the court.

its not a big deal

And as far as the Nets go,

Is Deron a Winner?

I think Kidd can help mold him.

i think joe, Paul and kg fit well on paper, but we shall see what happens

that's a deep team. they are lucky they have a billionaire owner. one of the best name rosters i've ever seen. brook lopez isn't great but when he's your 5th best player that's pretty crazy. they'll probably crash and burn like every offseason winner seems to but still a crazy roster

lopez

KG

pierce

johnson

williams

with KG able to play some at center, with mason plumlee able to give minutes. i don't know who they kept but with terry off the bench there isn't much left to fill out roster wise.

great move with little to no salary cap issues. those contracts will all be off the books in 3 years

They've actually mixed in the vet experience with their younger guys pretty well. Wonder if DWill can start looking like one of the best PG's in the game now that he's surrounded by talent.

Definitely put this team together to do some damage against Miami.

assuming they keep brooks there's you're 2nd team backcourt

brooks and terry. scoring a plenty. KG plays some 5 with plumlee getting spot minutes. you sign a SF to play some spot minutes, let johnson play some as well.

the big thing is PF. now they can secure that by signing blatche, but the roster has versatility and depth. if they stay healthy they will be tough to beat
