"The Charlotte Bobcats are shopping Michael Kidd-Gilchrist around the league, confident they will be able to replace him with Otto Porter of Georgetown with the No. 4 pick in Thursday’s draft."

"Bobcats have placed Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on the trading block, the Bucks, Warriors, Celtics and Hawks have expressed interest in MKG."

Only seen him play once live it was against the nuggets he tore it up for 22 pts and 3 steals
But other that. really don't know much about him other than he's a raw propesct . What do you guys think ?

I think Jordan is a dumbass and shouldn't be giving up on this kid after one year.

Not someone you can build around, but put in a good system with proper coaching, he can be a solid considering he had nice numbers in a terrible offense and as a rookie.

Why trade and risk on Porter who isn't at all proven.

He was probably insulted at the fact that this kid couldn't beat his old ass self one on one.

Since Jordan is so happy to give up on MKG so early with his decision making we could probably land MKG for Duhon

aren't they the hornets again?

also i'd take him in a heartbeat for 2 reasons

1. he's athletic as hell and is one of those guys who does everything necessary to win. defends, rebounds, gets fouled. he has potential

2. michael jordan doesn't want him so he must be a future superstar

Couldn't potter and mug play together?

What do they do if they get the number 1 pick next year

Trade porter because they can get wiggins?

A package around MKG and Tyrus Thomas for Pau would be a steal for the Lakers.. haha

They can keep Thomas, never liked him since Chicago. For his salary might as well get Smith for a few million more. I'd rather them package Gordon, only has one year left on his deal and will boost our scoring deficient bench.

Who here would take on Tyrus Thomas' contract that's $8.5 million in 13/14 and $9 million in 14/15 if it meant we would also get MKG for Pau? I think the Cats would be able to take on the difference in the salaries since they're so below the cap.

I didn't see him play much
And when I did, he didn't stand out in highlights

But he is a hard worker

I wonder if he is seriously being shopped

Never was impressed with his game, even in college. Thought he had way to much hype. Nothing special, solid role player is what he looks like he will become.

All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl :D

Way too early to start shopping him. Jordan's an idiot. You're not gonna be contending for a while, you need to be very patient with these things.
