I remember when we were saying these exact sentiments about Trevor Ariza

Yea but trevor never came out and said he was willing to take less like clark did. I think he knows its best to be on the big stage rather than get payed a little more once and fade into the back ground of the NBA.

Hiring Mike Brown is not going to help bring LeBron back. They fired him trying to keep LeBron.

^ You wouldn't even want Earl Clark for cheap as he on record plenty of times has said he's willing to do?

For the minimum? sure. He's a lower tier (low priority) role player. Earl isn't a great player. Lakers should set sights higher than EC.

Earl Clark is coming for cheap, you sign him.  He said he'd play for less money, so take him up on the offer and sign him.

How quickly we forget how before his role was changed he was putting up good numbers for us, and he crashed after never playing so many minutes before in his career so it was expected.

You keep a talent like that especially if he's willing to play for cheap, and he is.

Earl  may not want to be on a one year deal...Im not sure where we wanna be in 2014, but I think we want only Dwight and Steve OFFICIALLY on the books

The Cavs are interested in a Power Forward. They're rumored to have offered their 1st and 19th pick for Aldridge, then their 1st pick, Waiters and Thompson for K-Love.

I think Earl would see this year as his chance to play himself into a bigger contract in the 2014 season so a one year deal is his best shot at doing that especially with his "all-star" aspirations, I think he'd rather have a one year with potential of being paid more in 2014 than a 2 year where the 2nd year he could drop off and lose out on the money he would have if he was on a one year.

We did it with Shannon too.

Pau is only signed for a year, but I think there is a way we can sell them on Pau, now I wouldn't think he would garner us the 1st pick, but with all the question marks, wouldn't it be like trading Vlade for the guy who eventually became the Greatest laker of All Time?

Report: Blazers Reject Cavs’ Offer Of #1 And #19 Picks For LaMarcus Aldridge

Right, but I think Portland wants Waiters as well.  That #19 is more than likely going to be a bench player, and some teams feel Waiters is a potential starter.

He's wont hurt us much for that offseason. 4-5 mill at most. He's got a ton of potential and is young. Why give that up especially if he's cheap.

Earl will stay because we gave him a shot and he knows how much publicity you can get in LA.

Earl will stay cuz he wants them free Kobe signature shoes & he wants to learn the game from the Best to do it!

I love Earl Clark and his energy. But if it's for Kyrie Erving, then bye bye Earl.

Irving for Clark? The Cavs GM will be killed in his sleep.

You don't trade Clark for Kyrie. He's long and can shut down Lebron.

He's untradable.

for suggesting that trade
